MACED’s Energy Efficient Enterprises (E3) project works with small businesses and nonprofits to help them reduce energy use and operating expenses. We can help you spend less on electricity or gas by addressing:

  • lighting
  • heating and cooling
  • water heating
  • refrigeration and more!

With MACED’s Enterprise Development team, we offer:

  • an energy microloan for $10,000 or less for small energy efficiency projects and
  • interest rate incentives for larger energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

At Home — Replace your top five most used light bulbs with ENERGY STAR® compact fluorescent light bulbs.

On the Road — Bike, walk, ride the bus, or carpool to cut down on fuel emissions. You could reduce your fuel emissions by an average of 1,600 pounds per year if you worked from home two days a week.

For Businesses and Organizations:

There are many ways you can save energy and save money.

At the Office — Turn off lights and computers when not in use and always use the power saving monitor controls on your equipment.
